ABOUT JEREMY

Jeremy trusted Christ for salvation in 1992 and has experienced the joy of serving the Lord in various ministry areas. From a traveling music and evangelism ministry to full time youth ministry, God provided many opportunities for Jeremy to grow and be mentored in faith. Jeremy was the founder and director of “the Refuge,” a Christian Youth Center in Monroe, NC and later served as the High School Bible Teacher at a Christian School for several years. Jeremy has been the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Outreach at Blaise Baptist Church (Mocksville, NC) for six years.

In 1999, Jeremy and Angela were married and have been blessed by God with three boys (Nathan, 7; Caleb, 5; and Eli, 3). They are in process to adopt two girls from Ethiopia. They live in a log cabin in Davie County and enjoy a multitude of family outings, including camping, hiking, canoeing, sports, and mission projects.

Jeremy earned a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was also trained, certified, and served as an Associate Instructor with Walk Thru the Bible, International, leading biblical seminars in many churches. He has also presented at youth camps, retreats, and other Christian events.

Jeremy is available on a limited basis to speak in churches and other Christian events. He charges no set fee, except to ask that all expenses (travel, meals, and lodging) are provided and a donation to the Amick Adoption Fund is considered. Some topics include (but are not limited to):

    Hey Jeremy,

Way to go ole man. You have a lovely family and a great ministry. I shall always remember those early days we spent together back in Marshville. Of course, that was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

    Blessings,

    Doug Danner

    Pastor Doug,
In many ways, that does seem like light years ago. You were a faithful mentor and friend to me- a very patient man. You modeled a balance in ministry and family that I hope I have followed. While brief, those were foundational years. Long live the memories of “Monogamous Fish” and the way that JoAnn would answer the phone. We have to connect again soon. May God continue to bless you!
    Jeremy

Awww….ok so we have the pastor, the youth minister, and now I’ll have a youth chime in here about the good ol days in Marshville. Funny how things work…I’m now where Jeremy was….I guess that’s what they call full circle. I miss you both around here. I often do think back to those days of Monogamous Fish….I thought the balcony was going to collapse for sure, fruit loops up the nose, blended cheese burgers (Ive used that one). You both taught me well in my foundational years and I think about those days often and smile. Hope you both are doing well.
