Follow One, Lead Others
This e-book will be a daily devotional that provides 100 leadership principles by examining the teaching of the greatest leader ever–Jesus. Each daily entry will include a Scripture passage, a question for the day, a brief commentary on the passage, a leadership principle, and a prayer point.
Bridging the Community Gap
The unrealized potential to radically impact the world for Christ is partially due to a missing link. Many believers have not made the connection between the gifts of the Spirit they possess and the call of Christ to share the Gospel. The fact is that most Christians do not share the Gospel. In addition, less than 20% know what their spiritual gift is. One area of ministry that suffers the greatest when the gifts of the Holy Spirit are neglected is that of evangelism. Rarely has this critical link been realized in theological circles. Believers have been equipped with a supernatural ability that mobilizes and motivates them to share the Gospel. Therefore, the local church must rediscover the treasure of God-given gifts that will motivate believers to become potent witnesses for the Gospel of Christ.
Bridging the Disciple-Making Gap
Discipleship in church settings has often taken the form of classes, programs, or sermons. While I refuse to limit the ability of the Holy Spirit to use anything for the glory of God, these methods have proven to have little impact on the Body. Maybe the answer is something much more personal and simple. Disciple-making is relational and best accomplished in the midst of daily life. Most Christians agree that making disciples for Christ is a difficult, time-consuming, and sometimes heart-breaking task. We simply cannot change others or make them love Christ. That is why we have the gift of the Holy Spirit. He is the One who equips us for “making disciples” of others.
